Number 9

Aitor Throup is certainly one to keep on a patient eye. His bold style intrigues my interest.
Number 9 is upon us. As I heard today, questioned "what is the significance of number 9; I immediately thought that 9+9+09=27=2+7=9. This is a Time of Forgiveness, Compassion & Success, on one hand and Arrogance, and self-righteousness also pervades, what's y0ur Choice.

I see grande and similar differences between the opposites of the World. Think of Eastern Medicine and Western Practice. Like a Black cat in England is quite lucky in comparison to our morbid view. Ladders, and Snakes and Bible Belts, create a separate place in the mind of our own, make believe the new sentiment I agree with being part of an entire sphere, making space for Inclusivity.

The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heat. For out of the the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.

“Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it, you'd have good people doing good things and evil people doing bad things, but for good people to do bad things, it takes religion.”

“The more man clings to religion, the more he believes. The more he believes, the less he knows. The less he knows, the more stupid he is. The more stupid, the easier he can be governed! The easier to govern, the better he may be exploited. The more exploited, the poorer he gets. The poorer he gets, the richer and mightier the domineering classes get, the more riches and power they amass, the heavier their yoke upon the neck of the people.”

The final death toll was at 1,836, primarily from Louisiana (1,577) and Mississippi (238). It’s very difficult to determine the exact cause of the deaths but they were all caused either directly or indirectly by the Hurricane.

More than 70 countries pledged monetary donations or other assistance. Kuwait made the largest single pledge of $500 million, but Qatar, India, China, Pakistan and Bangladesh made very large donations as well.

The Land of my birth, a cold fortress of sledding dogs, racing with reindeer, sculptures of ice; and singing flickering lights in the northern sky. Birch tree's create lovely writing paper, and chewing Spruce sap is so delicious, the metamorphosis of this sticky substance into gum textures and colours after a 12 hour cross-country ski adventure is magick to a nine-year olds heart. I've ventured far from my origin, and landed in a heat induced oven, so here are some pictures to cool off to, during this particularly sultry Summer.

And saving one of the most beautiful creatures for last, and one that I personally experienced seeing, as my Father pointed out His wise grandfather frame within the trees and snow, He looked right at me and I knew I was in the presence of a knower of great secrets.

I think I could turn and live with animals,
they're so placid and self-contained,
I stand and look at them long and long.
They do not sweat and whine about their condition,
They do not lie awake in the dark and weep for their sins,
They do not make me sick discussing their duty to God,
Not one is dissatisfied,

not one is demented with the mania of owning things,
Not one kneels to another,

nor to his kind that lived thousands of years ago,
Not one is respectable or unhappy over the whole earth.

("Song of Myself", Walt Whitman, 1819-1892)
